I have now shot and edited my first ever music video clip! In June 2011 I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to tour Brazil with Mat McHugh from The Beautiful Girls. It was certainly an experience I will never forget, especially now that I have this!

MY NEXT FEATURE, BIGGER THAN ME
I am working on a film on women's big wave surfing, BIGGER THAN ME.
The project started in October 2010. I had just been at the Hawaii International Film Festival in Honolulu screening First Love for the very first time, I literally picked up the finished product on my stopover in Sydney airport on my way to Hawaii. After the screening, I went up to the North Shore. I was starting to wish for another project to come up while sitting on the beach at V-Land, getting itchy feet (or fingers? eyes?) So I made a list of ideasÉ Women's big wave surfing was on the top of the list. I googled some the the girls and sent out an email to Mercedes Maidana. I got a reply that afternoon and an hour later I was sitting on her balcony discussing the film with her. She told me that there was going to be the first ever women's big wave contest in Nelscott Reef Oregon, and that there was a big swell hitting there in a week. I could see it was an opportunity not to be missed and booked my flight. That was the first commitment to the film and I haven't looked back. The Pyramid Rock Festival have come on board again as a sponsor and to support me as a local Phillip Island artist, which has been a huge help in getting me around the world to film, and I am talking with a few big brands about getting on board. X-DANCE, BEST DOCUMENTARY AND EMERGING FILMMAKER
First Love was a huge success at the 2011 X-Dance Film Festival. We received the award for Best Documentary and I won the Emerging Filmmaker award! It was a jammed packed 5 days of snowboarding, watching films, hot tubbing and meeting other filmmakers. There were heaps of inspiring films, my favourites were Like a Lion, Deeper, Stoked and Broke and of course Life Cycles, with it's incredible cinematography. Thanks VAS Entertainment for putting us up in an amazing house amongst the snow and thanks to X-Dance for the unforgettable experience.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I spent the last two days of 2010 at The Pyramid Rock Festival on Phillip Island making a short promotional video clip for the festival. It was two jam packed days of filming from a helicopter, a cherry picker, stage and in and amongst the crowd. There were an exciting array of bands such as The Temper Trap (one of my favourites), Arrested Development, N.E.R.D and Xavier Rudd just to name a few.

EDDIE
My short film 'EDDIE' is premiering at the North Shore Surf Film Festival tonight, Saturday 4th December.
'EDDIE' captures some of the action and the magic from last years Quicksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau at Waimea Bay. December 9, 2009, was a day to be remembered, with waves up to 60 feet, the worlds best big waves surfers and over 25,000 spectators.
Winner, Greg Long says, "The respect and camaraderie in the lineup you don't find in too many places in the world, and this event really encapsulates everything that's great about surfing: the friendships you make in the water and looking out for one another."
EDDIE | 7 min | Director: Claire Gorman.

BUTTERFLIES
Drawing inspiration from a trip I made through Central America, I put together an animation for Liquid Pictures.
On and off for about two years, I worked on a six part series called 'Penguin Island' alongside world renowned wildlife cinematographer David Parer.
It was an amazing experience. Late nights on cold windy cliffs and pre-sunrise sessions to catch the penguins as they made their way out to sea. I learnt so much, and I am very grateful to 360 Degree Films for having me on this project.
Penguin Island will be aired ABC1, BBC & National Geographic.
